#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in Feb 20 2015

#FitReaders hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About.

Hey FitReaders! It is time for your weekly check-in (feel free to use whatever day you want to check-in–these posts will be going up on Fridays)! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of exercise? Are you on track with your other health goals! I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it!

This week I made sure to keep my steps down and my activity minimal. My back is feeling better so hopefully just one more week.  So lack of activity has my weight fluctuating up/down about 2lbs but as long as I stay right there for the next week I am OK. I am just going to remind myself: Journey not Sprint!

How did y’all do?

  1. So glad to hear your back is getting better! My work schedule kept me from getting any training walks in this week, but what are you gonna do? Hope next week is better, but not holding my breath. Oh well!

  2. Glad your back is feeling better!!

I maintained my daily step goal all by one day this week (but I exceeded it a lot another day, so I figure it all balanced out). Had fun taking a new class at the gym; definitely going to make that a weekly habit as much as possible.

WTG to everyone for making it through another week! Keep on being awesome 🙂

  3. Glad your back is feeling better. I’ve maintained a six pound loss the past few weeks. I guess I’m ok with that. Good luck with your work project!

Glad to hear you are on the mend.
Better week, for me. actually managed to get some green days on my fitbit.
    Working on portion size.

    Yay! for back feeling better.

I took a work vacation. My parents are traveling and I spent 5 days at their house and didn’t see another soul. It was awesome. I got lots of running and walking in. I did get some chuckles in that it was so flat there that I ran 3 miles and didn’t meet my stairs goals on one my my days.

I upped my daily step goals and have no issues this week. I am running more and more of my training and less run/walking. Really hoping that I can run my entire 5k next month. I am waiting to see how it goes before I sign up for any more races.
