Hi y’all! Welcome to my twice a month new series: Narrator Spotlight. I will be doing this to shine a light on some of the voices that keep us entertained by bringing our favorite books to life.
This week the spotlight is on Andrea Emmes and her narration of The American Heiress Series by Jen Turano.
So one of the overall questions I asked for this series was if you are spotlighting a book (or series) what made this one special. I think Andrea’s answer is really good and makes me want to listen!
“There are so many ways to tell a good love story. From the lens of an angsty, strong but misunderstood teenager; a cynical young woman jaded from a past love; a starry-eyed hopeless romantic; best friends who fall in love – the list goes on and on. What draws me to Jen Turano’s historical romance series, “The American Heiresses” series, is the humor, strong female characters, dynamic writing and all around great storytelling. You not only fall in love with the love story between the two main characters but also the many quirky people that surround them, the hilarious situations they find themselves in and how it all cleverly works out. I’m so excited to be able to voice this series, but I’m also a fan as a reader!”

I’m not familiar with this series, but I’ve enjoyed her work on the Maple Syrup Mysteries Series. Thanks!
