#JIAM Spotlight Narrator: Justine Eyre #LoveAudiobooks

For #LoveAudiobooks  I am going to spotlight some of my (and my fellow listeners) favorite narrators. I plan on doing one spotlight post a day until the end of June. Some of them will be single narrators and other will have multiple narrators. I will also sprinkle in a couple of spotlight on genre posts that will recognize my favorites in that area. I hope you will give them a listen and if you have favorite narrators use this month to thank them for bringing such rich layers to stories we love!

Today I am spotlighting Justine Eyre! She is one of the narrators I referred to on my Historical Romance list and she will make the PNR list too. She is extremely versatile and has a fantastic voice!

Justine Eyre is a classically trained actress who has narrated over three hundred audiobooks. With a prestigious Audie Award and four AudioFile Earphones Awards under her belt, Justine is multilingual and is known for her great facility with accents. She has appeared on stage in leading roles in King Lear and The Crucible, and has starring roles in four films on the indie circuit. Her recent television credits include Two and a Half Men and Mad Men.

  1. Sadly she butchered Daemon’s name in the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, but I’ve enjoyed her narration on Jen’s Convenant series and on Lauren Kate’s Fallen series. I think I heard a sample of her reading a historical novel and really liked that sample at the time. I’m not in a historical romance mood these days, but I know now that she does that genre as well.

Impressive list and she reads some of my favorite authors in HR and PNR so I’ll have to look them up in audio. Another narrator I need to listen to. 🙂

    • Those are two that she does really well. She does Nalini S. books too 🙂 Seriously I could have made this post extra long because she has been killing it for awhile 🙂
