* In Other Worlds anthology#1 New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon delivers a special collector's-edition tale. Dragonswan, which is the first Were-Hunter story ever published. Scholar Channon MacRea has spent years studying the legendary Dragon Tapestry, devoting days and nights to deciphering the impenetrable Old English symbolism.
Then one evening the mysterious Sebastian appears. He claims to hold the key to solving the tapestry’s mysteries… He also claims to be a dragon slayer trapped between two worlds.
For Channon there’s only one way to finally uncover the secrets of the intricate embroidery-- by following this stranger into a fantastic alternate world of magic, danger, and adventure.

So I read this one out of order by accident! One list said it was the 2nd in the series another one said #11. It is a short story, which are not my favorites, so it was a very quick read. My problem is (and this is with short stories in general) I feel like you jump into the story half way through. This one did have 2 likable leads and did explain about were-hunters which I think come along later in the series so that was good. I also liked the time-travel bit and that the lead woman was a historian. That has to be every historians dream to be able to visit the time which you are fascinated by!
