Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in Sept 12 2014
Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time 🙂
This week was good for me! I have been put on limited exercise meaning I can’t do anything to intense for to long. However, I have been given the greenlight to do 15 min of walking every hour so I have been doing it. Save for one day I hit my 6000 step goal and then some! So while I am not getting my exercise in the way I am used to, I am going for #noexcuses . This is my 2nd week of Weight Watchers. The first week I lost 3lbs and the 2nd week I lost none. So I am going to look back at my journal and see what foods might have tripped me up. It is a learning process to figure out what works for my thyroid and what doesn’t but I am determined. I think I am going to have to go on an 85% Paleo type of eating pattern. I tend to do better with more natural food in my diet than yogurts (and that type) of food. Even though calorie wise they are pretty equal. Eat and learn 🙂
