Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in Oct 10 2014
Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time π
This week I lost the 2lbs I gained the week before! YEAH π My average steps were above my goal again so it is time to up the goal (I was going to last week but that didn’t happen).Β I also took a step back on logging food. I am still on Weight Watchers but I did a QA with a person who told me to follow plan but not to log. I think I was thinking of food all day and it was backfiring. So I followed foods that I knew were points friendly but didn’t log anything. It seemed to work better for me so I will see how it works for week 2 π
How did you do?

Great week for you! I got out to walk a few times last week. Mother Nature dumped a ton of rain on us, so I didn’t get out as much as I wanted to.
Checking in. Meh. Blah.
I have done that too, Mel, but tracking mostly helps me a lot.
I had a good week – ate more than I should, but it was my son’s bday and family was in town. I walked, but didn’t run.
Got my daily 10K average, even if I didn’t actually make them each day.
You had a great week! I sometimes skip logging my food. During the week I stick with the same meals so I have an idea about what proportion size I should have. It’s good you are trying out different techniques.
I go back and forth with logging food. Some days I am much better at it but other days I find it extremely frustrating and like you, constantly thinking about food.
Nice week π

Congrats on the weight loss. I know what you mean about logging food. There have been times where I look at the number of calories I have left and will eat to use those calories even if I’m not hungry.
Sounds like a very positive week all round. Wise advice from person who told you not to log it.
