Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time πŸ™‚

  • Jan 1: Walked 30 min and helped clean-up after my porch was redone!
  • Jan 2: Did 30 min of Walk and Kick with Leslie Sansone
  • Jan 3: Day is still young so I haven’t done anything yet!

  1. hope to start today with a walk around the mall either before or after book club tonight! too cold to go outside. If all else fails, I’ll pop in a Walk at Home DVD when I get home from book club

  2. Am I too late to join up? I have a fitbit and have walked each day in January but would love the motivation and accountability of doing a challenge with others

  3. Even though it was snowing like mad out, I convinced the boy to go for a walk with me today up to a weird old scenic viewing cabin that caught fire in the 80’s. Might have almost fallen on the ice, but walking up and down that hill in the snow was a great workout for both of us πŸ˜€

  4. I need to join up with you all. I want to make a commitment to move for 10 minutes each day. I need to do something, but have no motivation.

  5. I got in Wednesday and Friday – but Thurs – snow + at work early – couldn’t get it done. Will do Sat & Sunday too. Thanks for the motivation πŸ™‚

  6. Still need to get today’s walk done, but so far so good! Thanks for mentioning the Leslie Sansome videos on the Giam channel – I needed something different! I’m going to probably try that today.

    • WOOT WOOT! Leslie is my go-to when I have to walk inside because it works all parts of the body. Or even as I did on Saturday–I just walked to the music but she has it all mapped out πŸ™‚
