#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in
Hey FitReaders! It is time for your weekly check-in (feel free to use whatever day you want to check-in–these posts will be going up on Fridays)! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of exercise? Are you on track with your other health goals! I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it!
This week I was bad! I lost some weight which should be a good thing but I am pretty sure I aggravated my back instead of healing it. Here is the thing: Listen to your drs! So last week I averaged 7200 steps a day–I was supposed to knock it down to around 4000 with a max of 6000 and no more than 5 min of “hard” walking at a time. I didn’t follow that and when I went to see her today, I was told two weeks of 4000 to 5000 steps with rest. So I will be doing that. It sucks but I feel like I don’t want to worsen it. I want to heal so I will be following rules. Y’all hold me to it!
