Howdy Y’all! Welcome to my weekly book travels! This is a chance for me to tell you where I have been, what is on the agenda, and just other random tidbits!
Last week was mostly Armchair BEA posts which were both exhausting and fun. However, that meant there were tons of posts on my blog (even more than normal) so I am hoping to slow it down a bit this week! I won’t bore you by re-linking those posts. I am going to repost the two reviews I posted last week because I think they may have gotten lost in the shuffle.
Last Friday night I got a little ranty about eBooks and the market again. This time it was about Barnes and Noble. I linked several fantastic articles that y’all need to read!

Tuesday: Top Off Tuesdays: This week is special because I am holding a giveaway of the book I chose! It is a one day giveaway so you need to be on your toes!
Wednesday: ThrillerFest VII Blog Tour: Spotlight on Karin Slaughter
Thursday: TBR Thursdays Check-In
Friday: Foodie Fridays! Each week I will be trying a recipe (or two) from a cookbook and reviewing it.

Yay! You’re joining us for the series reads!
Your reading accomplishments for a week make my head spin!!! I am so impressed! What did you think of the Tim Powers book? I’ve been curious about that one.
It was a DNF for me! I read 1/2 of it but the story was a little to all over the place. However, his writing and imagery are fantastic. I am pretty sure that there will be people who adore this book. I am hoping to try another book by him or go back to this one at a later date.
Nice collection of books read over the past couple of weeks! I really need to read Outlander. I kind of feel like the last woman standing when it comes to this book!
LOL I don’t think you are. I actually read it when it was originally published (and a few times since then). It was my gateway book to time travel books. Just like Wishes was my Romance gateway book
Happy reading this weeeek!
I am aiming for a book a day this week–we will see how that goes :)
Wow! You are rocking the books! I’m really enjoying the Married w/Zombies read a long! Even my pups have been enjoying the extra treats for pics! LOL
Btw, thanks for sending me my treasures. Will take me a bit to get to them, but I will!
You are very welcome! I thought you might want them :)
You sure are in for some great series books Felicia! Looking forward to reading those reviews.
I hope so! I love series and most of these have been on my list for awhile :)
I wish I could join the summer thing but I am too burield. I wish the Zombie read along was s bit more enthusiastic. It seems there is a lack of participation. I commented on all the blogs both weeks and the number of return comments was paltry. What gives? Looking forward to your review on Plague Town and Changeling.
I can understand the buried thing! I think I am usually less buried during the summer but that is because I know this is when I am laziest LOL
I am not sure what it is with the read-a-long. It might be that the pictures have to a person in it–some people just prefer privacy. I am having fun though ;)
Both of those reviews are going up this week!
There are so many series I need to catch up with so the summer thing that Amanda and Kelly are doing sounds fun, but I don’t want to over commit myself, and I think I already have. LOL
I think you are committed to health this summer and I approve! It is quite alright to step away from the computer and let it chill for awhile :)
What did you think of Changeling? I’ve really been wanting to try that one because I’ve loved some of her adult historical fiction books, but I’ve been reading mixed reviews. Or, instead of asking in a comment I could wait for your review, but I’m not super patient like that:)
I just got through writing the review. I thought it was OK not as good as some of her stories. That being said my main issue with it was probably because I have read her before.
Fun week Felica….:D I need to check out that series summer thing, Im still needing to read the Harry P series and the Sookie series and finish the Fever series……
LOL you sound like me! When I was pulling out series for the months I was thinking I could really do this for the next 3 years LOL
wow, what a week :) I love the whole series of the month thing, but I don’t think I would be able to pull it off… I will have to remember to stop by for top it off tuesday- happy reading! Book Savvy Babe
It’s Nicki Duncan’s new book. The cover is delish :)
Such excitement in store. You re-read HP every July? You rock!
I do! Every year for Harry’s birthday Plus I love the books!
