Every once in awhile there are covers that just make you say Oh My! Sometimes it is good, sometimes it is bad, and sometimes it is head scratching. The point of Top Off Tuesday is to show you the ones with their Tops Off! Seriously y’all hunting out Top Off Tuesday covers is one of my favorite pastimes and you should join the fun!
This month for Top Off Tuesday I am going to highlight some books that I read (usually these are novellas) but never reviewed! I have noticed that a few of them are Top Off Tuesday worthy so I had to share.This week I have the Rake and the Recluse by Jenn LeBlanc. I won these from Book Savvy Babe last year and really enjoyed them. There are lots of Top Off Tuesday worthy pictures in the book (it is an illustrated serial).
Francine Larrabee woke up on the wrong side of the century. She was fairly certain she went to sleep in her own comfy bed, but she doesn’t quite seem to be there now. Only adding to her problems is that she has no voice, is constantly being glowered at by a large, stunning man who is obsessed with propriety, and she is apparently betrothed to another horrid little man, determined to ruin her, and any other girls that get in his way.
How does she find herself in the past, when she couldn’t even find herself in her present? How does a self sufficient businesswoman survive in a time when women were still considered property for the whole of their lives and what is she going to do with this man who draws her to him so fiercely.

There are some interesting thumbnails up there this week!I like the sexy corset on this one. Why are we so drawn to corsets, they look gorgeous but in the older days were a bitch to wear!

Okay. I think there is something wrong with me. My eyes went right for her somewhat-corset-covered boob. I think my eyes went straight to a nipple last week. Clearly my eyes are obsessed with people’s chests – moobs or boobs, my eyes don’t discriminate:)
