Lawyer Kate Lange remembers Kenzie Sloane. The former wild child was part of the same crowd that attracted her little sister, Imogen, before her death. Now Kenzie needs her help. And Kate needs answers.
But there are others who know about the tattoo and its history. And one of them is watching Kenzie’s every move, waiting for the perfect moment to fulfill a dark promise that had been inked in her skin.

Character Rating 3.75First thought when finished: Very interesting thriller even if the ending was a bit of a mess to me!What I Loved: This was the first book in this series that I have read and I didn’t feel lost at all. I felt an immediate connection to Kate. I loved that she was smart, tough, and yet very vulnerable. I love that in Tattooed she was caught in a place of having to make a choice of getting past the past and yet constantly having to deal with it. This element made for an intriguing plot device and I really loved it!What I Liked: I really liked the suspects in the story: Kenzi and McNally. I was never quite sure what was going to happen between or to both of these characters. I like when there is a side cat/mouse game that I can’t always figure out. I liked how Kenzi’s mom played into the overall story.
What made me go huh?: The ending was a bit of a mess to me and to be honest I wasn’t fan of all the outcomes. I can’t say more because I don’t want to give anything away. Also there is a triangle and we all know how I feel about those *sigh*
Final thought: I am going to pick up the first book in this series as I did overall enjoy Tattooed!
