Solving the Maze was supposed to be the end.

Thomas was sure that escape from the Maze would mean freedom for him and the Gladers. But WICKED isn’t done yet. Phase Two has just begun. The Scorch.

There are no rules. There is no help. You either make it or you die.

The Gladers have two weeks to cross through the Scorch—the most burned-out section of the world. And WICKED has made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them.

Friendships will be tested. Loyalties will be broken. All bets are off.

There are others now. Their survival depends on the Gladers’ destruction—and they’re determined to survive.

WOOT I win! I read it before you and Jenny–I feel like anytime that happens with something that is clearly more in y’alls wheelhouse that I win LOL 🙂

In all seriousness, it was a really good read (the whole trilogy) and quick 🙂

I need to read this series Felicia! Especially with the movie coming out, I can’t wait to see it. I’m going to have to wait to read until after I see the movie though, otherwise I’ll be sitting in the audience fixating on all the changes they made from page to screen:)

Wait until after the movie. I am going to guess that they change some things (just from the previews–the place itself looks a little different). I am guessing the tone will be on target though 🙂

You are dead on about Maze Runner, it took a lot to get to the action. This one there is about 2 chapters where “nothing” really happens but it is much more quick paced.
