Read for Fun

Esme Astell loved Charlie Brittle, the printer’s son who worked across the street from the perfume shop she worked in. Charlie disappeared almost 2 years ago and is believed dead. She leaves London for Edinburgh to attend the Society of Perfumers meeting hoping to get a better job in Paris. Imagine her surprise when she sees Charlie alive! He needs her help to sever his ties with the pirate he has been slaving for since his disappearance. Between attending her meeting and helping Charlie, she discovers he loves her too. Now the problem is freeing him from the pirate and getting a job.

Novellas are too short to ruin the great story Katharine Ashe has written. Her novellas are as good as her books. There is a lot more going on than the little I’ve told you. I highly recommend this book.
