More Information:WHAT WOULD MAKE YOUR CHRISTMAS PERFECT?
For Cassie Beaumont, it's meeting her perfect match. Cassie, at thirty-three, wants a husband and kids, and so far, nothing's worked. Not blind dates, not the Internet and certainly not leaving love to chance.
What's left? A professional matchmaker. He's Simon Dodson, and he's very choosy about the clients he takes on. Cassie finds Simon a difficult, acerbic know-it-all, and she's astonished when he accepts her as a client.
Claiming he has her perfect mate in mind, Simon assigns her three tasks to complete before she meets him. Three tasks that are all about Christmas: being a charity bell ringer, dressing up as Santa's elf at a children's party and preparing a traditional turkey dinner for her neighbors (whom she happens to dislike). Despite a number of comical mishaps, Cassie does it all --- and she's finally ready to meet her match.
But just like the perfect Christmas gift, he turns out to be a wonderful surprise!

First Thought when Finished: The Perfect Christmas by Debbie Macomber was a quick, sweet, and fun Christmas read.
Story Thoughts: The Perfect Christmas was a sweet Christmas romance! The story was short and sweet but made for a great afternoon read with a hot cup of tea. I love matchmaker storylines so that made me smile. My only complaint was the end was much to quick for me. However, the rest of the story was delightful and fun! Perfect for the season.
Audio Thoughts:
Narrated by Tavia Gilbert / LENGTH 4 hrs and 13 mins
Tavia is one of my favorite narrators and she did an excellent job with The Perfect Christmas. Her pacing, emotion, and delivery were spot on and I think did the characters justice.
Final Thoughts: The Perfect Christmas made for a great holiday read.

I’m a Macomber fan girl! I listened to this one back when it was first released. Her holiday stories always make it on to my list of books I read during the Christmas season. π
I absolutely love Debbie Macomber. One of my favorite authors. I have read several of her Christmas books, but not this one. Thanks for sharing!
Ooo I don’t have this one yet, and now I want it! Adding it to my wishlist. Thanks for the review Felicia.
I’ve been Leary of Debbie, just because her covers are so mundane. I know I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.
I think I read this one and liked it too. Debbie’s fabulous for Christmas.
This was my first Debbie and I really liked it π
I’m not always the biggest Debbie Macomber but I do like those sweet little novellas that twang on the heartstrings.
This was my first and I enjoyed it. I just have a feeling overall she would be too sweet for me.
Umm! I know 3.5 stars it’s not really bad, but I just can’t get excited about it. I have a few holiday listens and reads lined up for our Christmas trip (14 hrs driving). I still have a few days to see what else you got up you sleeve π
It was my first Debbie book and it wasn’t bad. There are better holiday listens out there that is for sure π
I’m on a holiday reading roll so I might add this one to the list. I’ve never read anything by Macomber before.
This was my first Debbie! My sister loves her and I thought it was sweet.
I haven’t read anything holiday-themed yet this year Felicia, and I think I need to change that. You and Kim at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer have both been reviewing some fantastic holiday reads so I’ve been making a list. Adding this one too it for sure, I don’t even care that the ending is a little rushed:)
I got a late start this year. I won’t read as many as last year but there are some delightfully fun ones this year π
I do like xmas books π
Me too! They make me smile π
