Date Read: January 2016
Genre: Historical, Romance

More Information:In the fifth novel of the captivating Rhymes With Love series from New York Times bestselling author Elizabeth Boyle, a young woman's hopes of a match encounter a wickedly handsome complication . . .
Lavinia Tempest has been eagerly anticipating a spectacular season. But one disastrous pile-up on the Almack's dance floor derails all her plans. Add to that, the very stunning revelations about her mother's scandalous past have become the ton's latest on dits. Lavinia's future has gone from shining bright to blackest night in one misstep.
Alaster "Tuck" Rowland admits he's partly to blame for Lavinia's disastrous debut. But it's not guilt that compels him to restore her reputation. Rather, he's placed a wager that he can make Lavinia into one of the most sought-after ladies in London. Who better than an unrepentant rake to set society astir?
Tuck's motives are hardly noble. But in teaching the lovely Lavinia how to win any man she wants, he suddenly finds himself tangled in the last place he ever imagined: in love.

First thought when Finished:The Knave of Hearts is my favorite in the series and that is because Livy and Tuck are a couple that you just know belong together!
Quick Thoughts: I was already in love with Livy and Tuck in The Viscount Who Lived Down the Lane. Mostly because they were both just total hot messes (in different ways). Livy is someone I think most of us can identify with. To say that girl is accident prone, headstrong, and stubborn would be an understatement. She is just so darn lovable. Tuck–total Knave! Yet, he really is the kind of man you can totally swoon over. However, I fell in love with them falling IN love! The end was PERFECT for them. Just all around kind of a perfect package romance. That being said, while I think you can read this book without reading 1-3 in this series, I do think you need to read The Viscount Who Lived Down the Lane first.
Audio Thoughts:
Narrated by: Susan Duerden /Length: 11 hrs and 8 mins
Susan is really good at historical settings. She does some of the best historical romances and part of what I like about her narration is that it is never over the top. This was a fun performance and I think she nailed it!

oh I can’t WAIT to read this one!! I really liked the previous book, so I am excited for this couple especially after reading your thoughts on it!!
This sounds delightful Flea. I listened to the narrator and like her sound . Will this work as standalone?
This sounds good, adding it to my wishlist.
I’ve read so many great reviews for this book! I need to make time for it.
It was really cheeky 🙂 They were polar opposites (she had lists/he was a knave), it made it total bedlam and fun 🙂
This sounds like so much fun! I always get excited when I see 5 star reviews:-)
It was my first of the year 🙂 I always consider a month a success if I have one 🙂
Sounds really fun for an historical! Off to check my library…
It was fun but I will say you need to read book 4 first 🙂 Just because that is her twin’s book and they make an appearance in that book.
I’m trying to read more romance this month, and this sounds exactly like the historical romance that I used to swoon over!
They were both very stubborn. He was a true Knave and she had LISTS of what a proper man should be. It was great fun having them fall for each other.
