Quick Thoughts: I am so glad that I listened to Sideswiped before The Drafter or I don’t think I would have enjoyed this one as much as I did. I was already invested in these characters (especially Silas and Peri–as individuals not a couple). The action was top notch. The twists really twisty (so maybe there was one too many in the middle but alas the end saved it for me). The world totally fascinating. However, it was the characters that made me love this book and start the countdown to book 2.
Audio Thoughts:

Not gonna lie–January is quickly becoming part of my 10 top narrators in the business. She just nailed The Drafter –the pacing, emotions, characters. Just really enjoyed this!

This definitely looks awesome!!! Also I love your rating system.
Also I nominated you for the Liebster Award. I hope you continue it and good luck! http://mylibrarycardworeout.com/2015/12/29/liebster-award/
Keep up the fantastic work.
Loved Sideswiped on audio and wish I had this one. I’ll will do the next book on audio!
I’ve listened to Sideswiped, but I still need to start this one. I need to move it up my priority list.
This one really looks interesting, and I’m glad you said that about reading the other first. I’ve read books like that and know that if I hadn’t read the book before it that I would have probably not liked it as much. It’s all about that connection that lingers, I think.
I do enjoy Kim Harrison’s books, but this sounds not like something I would enjoy. Glad you did though!
I started this one back in August and I was having a hard time engaging. I am planning on reading it over the break when I have to time to digest it.
Can’t wait to listen to this series! It’ll be a priority in 2016.
