Reeling from the tragic events of Dust & Decay, Benny Imura and his friends plunge deep into the zombie-infested wastelands of the great Rot & Ruin. Benny, Nix, Lilah and Chong journey through a fierce wilderness that was once America, searching for the jet they saw in the skies months ago. If that jet exists then humanity itself must have survived…somewhere. Finding it is their best hope for having a future and a life worth living.

But the Ruin is far more dangerous than any of them can imagine. They are hunted by fierce animals escaped from zoos and circuses. They must raid zombie-infested towns for food and medical supplies. They discover the very real truth in the old saying: In the Rot & Ruin…everything wants to kill you.

And what is happening to the zombies? Swarms of them are coming from the east, devouring everything in their paths. These zoms are different. Faster, smarter, infinitely more dangerous. Has the zombie plague mutated, or is there something far more sinister behind this new invasion of the living dead?

In Flesh & Bone, Benny Imura, Nix Riley, Lou Chong and Lilah the Lost Girl are pitted against dangers greater than anything they’ve ever faced. To survive, each of them must rise to become the warriors Tom trained them to be.

I already finished this one: For Gene and the remaining humans—or hepers—death is just a heartbeat away. On the run and hunted by society, they must find a way to survive in The Vast… and avoid the hungry predators tracking them in the dark. But they’re not the only things following Gene. He’s haunted by the girl he left behind and his burgeoning feelings for Sissy, the human girl at his side.

When they discover a refuge of exiled humans living high in the mountains, Gene and his friends think they’re finally safe. Led by a group of intensely secretive elders, the civilisation begins to raise more questions than answers. A strict code of behaviour is the rule, harsh punishments are meted out, young men are nowhere to be found—and Gene begins to wonder if the world they’ve entered is just as evil as the one they left behind. As life at the refuge grows more perilous, he and Sissy only grow closer. In an increasingly violent world, all they have is each other… if they can only stay alive.

All new to me books! I can’t decide if I’m interested in Flesh an Bone or too grossed out by the title to consider it LOL This is the reason I don’t read many zombie books – I don’t like graphic grossness – so I’ll have to wait and see how graphic it is.

I guess the quilting book means that the quilting is going well! Yay!

I know! I have made myself quit looking for a bit until I clear some of mine out. Next month is listen to what I own month (or at least one a week LOL)

You know, I actually have Rot & Ruin. But it’s about zombies<—–I KNOW 😉 See, I'm not totally against them. I really wanna read Feed by Mira Grant too. And I think I've already said this, but I'm looking forward to your Prey review. I've been on the fence regarding that series for awhile.

ALSO–I am further resolved to figure out how to operate my stinking sewing machine. I am smarter than the equipment *chants in a round*

I think I figured out my bobbin yesterday. We will see, I was able to thread it twice without getting all that crazy bottom sewing. WIN!

I like Zombies so it would be hard for me to say whether you would like the Rot & Ruin Series. However, on the Fukuda series–I liked book 2 as much as book 1. It was an interesting twist on Vampires but each one ends on a cliffy so have the next one ready to go LOL Also don’t listen to on audio. It was quite possibly the worst audiobook I have listened to in awhile.
