The "First Lady of the West," #1 New York Times bestselling author Linda Lael Miller, welcomes you home to Parable, Montana-where love awaits. But country-western sweetheart Casey Elder is out of the spotlight and back in Parable, Montana. And Walker can't ignore that his "act now, think later" passion for Casey has had consequences. Two teenage consequences!
Keeping her children's paternity under wraps has always been part of Casey's plan to give them normal, uncomplicated lives. Now the best way to hold her family together seems to be to let Walker be a part of it-as her husband of convenience. Or will some secrets-like Casey's desire to be the rancher's wife in every way-unravel, with unforeseen results?

First Thought when Finished: I ADORE Linda Lael Miller’s characters. They make me root for the HEA every dang time and I did in Big Sky Summer!
Story Thoughts: Just going to say it: I was not a huge fan of the base of this storyline where the kids were concerned. I don’t understand the whole lying about who the father was when he clearly wanted to be in the picture. On both sides (father and mother) it pissed me off. It is hard to love a story when you just don’t get why it happened in the first place.
Character Thoughts: I love the characters of the Swoon-Worthy Cowboys series. As much as I didn’t understand why Walker and Casey made some of the decisions that they did, I still was rooting for them to work it out. Plus, we got to see all the couples we already know and love. I just need Bry to have a love story. That girl sure does deserve one!
Final Thoughts: While this might not be my favorite in the series it was still a pretty good read!
