Even if no one else can hear it...Connor

Read It File It (Short Review: I have to admit that the 2nd half of Scorched by Mari Mancusi really hooked me! The beginning wasn’t bad but it took a bit till I was invested in the characters (Trin is a great leading character but neither brother was hooking me in the beginning. After everything clicked though the book was hard to put down. It was just downright enjoyable! Confession: I just started playing WOW again so the dragons were a big pull to me reading this story and Mari didn’t let me down!
Audio Thoughts:
Narrated By Miriam Volle / Length: 9 hrs and 48 mins
I thought Mariam Volle did a decent job with the narration. I think book 2 will probably work better for me than book 1 because I am now used to her male voices (those took me a bit to warm up too). Her pacing was terrific though and I thought she was spot on for Trin!

I don’t know how I missed this Felicia, I just saw your post on Face book 🙂 I think I could really enjoy this one! I love Dragons.
Thanks!
I actually have been stalking this book at work so I was so stoked to see you read it!!! I’ve moved it up to read sooner b/c it looks short, too!!!! Thank you so much for working on your UBB 😉
This one’s still on my shelf because I want to read it but just haven’t gotten around to it yet…might need to put it back into rotation.
I remember liking this one well enough, but I haven’t felt compelled to continue the series. I haven’t read any books yet for book two.
I’m always tempted when a book has dragons 😀 I’m okay with a slow start, and it sounds like this one hooked you in the end, so that works. I’ll have to add it to my tbr.
Side note: I’ve never played WOW – I fear yall would never see me again lol
I was tempted to start this series on account of the dragons, and that cover—wow! It IS Young Adult though, so I’ll need to do a bit more research, I’m always hesitant to add a book in this genre to my TBR. Have a fan weekend!
Oh this sounds fun! It sometimes takes me a little while to warm up to women narrating male voices too. (:
I didn’t know about this book, but… Dragons! That’s all I need to know. 🙂
Ack, this sounds so cute… and perfect for the season!
I used to read sci-fi/fantasy when I was a teen, but then I backed away from it for a long time. Thanfully George R.R. Martin and Patrick Rothfuss have pulled me back in, so I might be giving this one a try! Here there be dragons!
