Quick Thoughts: I originally read this book back in 2013 but clearly I deleted the wrong duplicate when cleaning my goodreads shelves because my review is gone.

This book is the 2nd of the Devil’s Duke series and the last, I think, of the Falcon Club series. I couldn’t put it down. The hard part for me in writing any review is to share my love of the story without giving too much away. I don’t like too many plot spoilers.

I have enjoyed the back and forth letters between Lady Justice and Peregrine, aka Colin Gray, now the Earl of Egremoor.

Wow! What a great ending to a wonderful series. I couldn’t put this book down. While it can be read on its own, I think you will enjoy it more if you’ve read the previous 3 in this series. I say that because each book delves further into the mystery that the Frobisher brothers are investigating.
