First Thought When Finished: That was a laugh out loud romp that was super cute. The “love” was a little rushed for my taste but the characters were fantastic!

Story Thoughts: The humor of What Happens in Scotland kept me in stitches during the hijinks that were done by Lady Georgette Thorold. The story takes place over a 24 hour period which is a very short time. I am going to admit that this is probably what kept me from loving it. I am not a fan of insta-love but with humor that was done excellently, it was easy to forget the short time frame at times. My suggestion, just get lost in the hijinks and try to ignore the timeline.

First Thought When Finished: I really love this series but I wanted a little more of the mystery!

Story Thoughts: Peach Pies and Alibis really moved the story ahead at a blinding pace. I was really surprised at how much Ellery managed to get down without it seeming like too much.

First Thought When Finished: Holy crap y’all there was no Love Triangle and very little angst! That scores an auto 4 from me in the YA world! I reward good behavior.

Story Thoughts: I have to admit that parts of The Farm reminded me of The Hunt. However, that was just in tone not really in the story. I think The Farm succeeded in pulling me into the story with the really unique characters.
