First Thought when Finished: The original part of Dark Frost was ROCKSTAR but the “rehashing” of previous stories was over done (I don’t know why but in this one it really stood out).

First Thought When Finished: Just a bit too much repetition in the beginning of the book but once we get to the meat of the story, it gets awesome (that part is worth a 4.25)!

Story Thoughts: Poor Gwen, she can’t get a break even on a school winter vacation. I loved going “off-site” in Kiss of Frost. The element of who was bad/who was good was also etched up a notch! The Winter Carnival was the perfect setting for Gwen to work her through her issues surrounding her feeling for Logan (teenage first love is the worst/the best depending on how it is going). It also gave us a chance to meet other students from other academies (which I hope to see more of in the future). The original part of the story was strong and fun. Enjoyable ride for fans of the series.
