Donna’s Review: How to Heal a Highland Heart by Julie Johnstone

Read for Review (Publisher) Overall Rating: 5.00 Brodee Blackswell, aka the Savage Slayer, left his home when the rightful heir, his twin brother Broch, was found. He has been serving as King David’s right hand and has been offered Silas Kincaid’s castle and the widow, Lady Patience, as his bride. Lady Patience doesn’t trust men with good reason. They must marry and try to let their pasts be forgotten. Brodie has a hard time doing that. She wants to love him but has never believed she could be loved. Kinsey, Silas’s sister, is determined to be Brodee’s mistress, or wife. Patience is missing and Brodee discovers that Kinsey ordered the maid to bring her wine daily. Patience doesn’t drink it, but it’s still delivered and now Patience is missing. Brodee goes after her and discovers several things about himself and the people in his new clan. There is so much more going on in this book and I don’t want to spoil it. It’s another wonderful book in this series. If you love Scottish heroes and heroines, you will love this book. I highly recommend it.
