#30DaysOfThanks2015 Day 19 Narrator: Johanna Parker

Johanna Parker

Johanna is one of go-to narrators but this year she really wow’d me with The Unleashing by Shelly Laurenston. There were so many accents and characters–she just really nailed it and brought those characters to life. There was a lot going on in that book and I felt that she never faltered. She has narrated a lot of my favorite series over the years: Sookie Stackhouse , Book Retreat Mysteries, Magical Bakery Mysteries, and Shadow Force.

Audiobook Review: Dead Ever After by Charlaine Harris

Audiobook Review: Dead Ever After by Charlaine Harris

First Thought When Finished: Thank you Bon Temps and Charlaine Harris for all the good times over the years! You will be missed!

NOTE: I realize I am probably in the minority but I actually like how the end scene worked. I thought it held very true to who Sookie Stackhouse was from the beginning. She never wanted to be owned, controlled, or a side character in her own life. Even half way through the series, she was repeating that mantra…..
