For #JIAM16 I am going to spotlight some of my favorite narrators. I plan on doing one a day until the end of June. I hope you will give them a listen and if you have favorite narrators use this month to thank them for bringing such rich layers to stories we love! About Cassandra Campbell has recorded nearly two hundred audiobooks and directed many more. She has been nominated for and won multiple Audie Awards, as well as the prestigious Odyssey Award. She has received numerous starred audio reviews in both Publishers Weeklyand Library Journal and more than twenty AudioFileEarphones Awards. Cassandra was also named a Best Voice by AudioFile for 2009 and 2010.   Follow Twitter Audible Next Few Releases/Current Releases The Peculiar Miracles of Antoinette Martin UNABRIDGED By Stephanie Knipper Narrated By Andi Arndt, Cassandra Campbell Length: 9 hrs and 15 mins Scheduled Release Date: 08-02-16 The Light of Paris UNABRIDGED By Eleanor Brown Narrated By Cassandra Campbell Length: 12 hrs and 31 mins Scheduled Release Date: 07-12-16 The Crimson Skew UNABRIDGED By S. The fact that she narrates a wide spectrum of work makes that easy to do. She knows how to bring character’s quirks to the forefront and bring you into the performance.

First Thought when Finished: This is the second set of V-Wars stories that I have listened too and I am fascinated by them. This one particularly delved into the different types of “V’s” and that appealed to the history lover in me (great cultural and ethnic tie-ins).

Cassandra Campbell

Cassandra has been on my go-to narrators list for a long time. This year though she narrated probably my favorite performance by her: Dead Spots by Rhiannon Frater. She did such a good job and gave me chills with her performance. She narrates a bunch of different genres: cozy mysteries, romance, fiction. She really is very good at fleshing out characters and bringing them to life. She was part of The Help audiobook (which is brilliant BTW) and V-Wars both of them (which I LOVED). She has done so many audiobooks that I adore that I couldn’t possibly list them all. You really should check her out 🙂 On my Christmas Wishlist narrated by her: The Night Sister by Jennifer McMahon!

First Thought when Finished: Dead Spots by Rhiannon Frater was everything I have come to expect (in a brilliant kind of way) when cracking open a book by her: emotional, twisted, and at the core a story about overcoming life circumstances. LOVED IT!
