For #JIAM16 I am going to spotlight some of my favorite narrators. I plan on doing one a day until the end of June. I hope you will give them a listen and if you have favorite narrators use this month to thank them for bringing such rich layers to stories we love! About Angela Dawe is an audiobook narrator and actress living and working in Chicago, Illinois. Winner of several Earphones Awards from Audiofile Magazine and narrator of two Audie-nominated audiobooks, Angela is also an accomplished improviser/sketch comedian, and has worked with such theaters as Second City, iO (formerly improvOlympic), and The Annoyance. I adore her voice (my friend not so much but that is the beautiful thing about audiobook narrators–they will work for some not others). Seriously Angela is probably in my Top 5 of narrators. I think she nails pacing and emotion and even gets male voices almost right (I should preface that with I don’t think anybody gets them exactly right but she is close).
