First Thought when Finished: One Kick by Chelsea Cain was a fascinating look at a subject matter that isn’t broached much in fiction. I really enjoyed it! I would say the 2nd half of the story was stronger than the first half so stick with it. I hope there is more in the series and that we learn more about these characters.

Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back the Month of Thanks. I had so much fun doing this last year that I thought I would recycle the program again this year.   Each day I will highlight one book from 2013 that really stuck with me and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone (or books) that I love. Listened for Fun (Library Book) Overall Rating: 5.00 Story Rating: 5.00 Character Rating: 5.00 Audio: 4.50 (not part of the overall rating) First Thought When Finished: Holy twisty turny …… Why I Loved Kill You Twice: Oh my! I thought that Gretchen couldn’t get any more manipulative and boy was I wrong. If you are a fan of the series then you are going to have flashes of the first book dancing through your head. Kill You Twice was absolutely on par with Heartsick. In fact, I think it was even better. Add to your Goodreads Shelf | Read my review Best Thing about Them: Kelly, Heather, and Laurie are all fantastic.  They are super fun and it shows in everything they do! What I *heart* about Them: I know Kelly and Heather pretty well.  These gals are just sparkling personalities with lots of gumption.  They love reading, sharing their thoughts on books they read, and talking about book boyfriends.  They are also a huge part of what makes blogging fun daily. Their personalities shine through everything. Why you should follow Them: Got Fiction is actually a few blogs that have come together to form one blog together.  If you loved Heather at Book Savvy Babes then you can now find her here.  If you loved Kelly at Demon Lovers then you can find her here.  Really these are bloggers that you probably already know and love at a new home.  Plus, they are reading more eclectically now so there is a little bit of everything happening over there. Go follow Got Fiction

First Thought when Finished: Let Me Go was strong in character development/growth but the story wasn’t my favorite in the series.

First Thought when Finished: I missed Gretchen in The Night Season but I think this book proved Chelsea Cain can write a pretty good Archie book without her!
