HELL HATH NO FURY . . .

For five thousand years, Revenant believed he was alone in the world, a fallen angel beyond any redemption. Now he finds he has a twin brother who had all the light and love Revenant was denied. Caught in a tug of war between Heaven and Hell, he must weigh his thirst for revenge against his desire for a mysterious female named Blaspheme—a female whose very origins could deliver him into salvation . . . or destruction.

LIKE AN ANGEL SCORNED

Blaspheme has a deadly secret: she's the forbidden offspring of an angel and a fallen angel. Hunted by both heavenly and satanic forces, she has survived only by laying low and trusting no one. When Revenant claims he can save them both, how can she possibly believe him? But the powerful angel is persistence incarnate and for Blaspheme, there's no place she can hide in Heaven or Hell where he won't find her . .

First Thought when Finished: Revenant by Larissa Ione made me laugh, cry, and the UPS guy kind of blushed when he picked the wrong time to deliver my mail! I thought it was a perfect end (or is it) to the series!

Extra Note: Blas lived up to her smart ass self and is my favorite leading lady in the series. I kind of knew she would be!

Audio Thoughts:

Narrated By Hillary Huber / Length: 12 hrs

Hillary did 3 of the books in this series and I think she does a pretty good job. There were, I think, something like 4 different narrators for the series. Normally that annoys me but to be honest it worked for this series (other than I got attached to some voices by other narrators). Hillary was solid! She wasn’t my favorite but overall she delivered.

  1. I liked this one, but I didn’t like it as much as Reaver. Despite that, I think it was a good end to an amazing series…. Although… if I’m not wrong Larissa is planning on doing a spin-off series.

  2. This was a winner for me in every way. I love Hillary Huber’s performance. I wish she’d narrated the whole series.
    I love this series 🙂

  3. I read the first book in Ione’s Demonica series a couple of years ago and wasn’t terribly impressed. So I just looked it up on Goodreads to see what you had thought of it, hoping that maybe you weren’t crazy about it either, but the series grew on you, but nope, you loved it too, LOL. I don’t know, maybe I’ll try it again some time, b/c I honestly can’t remember what it was specifically that made me so MEH about it, but regardless, I’m glad you loved it and were happy with the (maybe) ending.

  4. I LOVE Larissa Ione and this series has been top notch since the beginning. I didn’t think anything could be as good as Reaver but this one was definitely great. Rev just cracked me up, he was kind of like a petulant child with a lot of power and a sarcastic streak miles wide. He was just great.
