Oh I love historical romance! Specifically, early American historical romance–it makes me smile. Kade McKettrick is all Cowboy: stubborn, hard-headed, loyal, smart, and sometimes just a wee bit cocky (ok nothing wee about it) and Sister Mandy (LOL) was just the woman to put him in his place. I don’t know about you but hard not to love a western romance where the girl beats the man in a horse race! Have to admire her gumption!
Final Thought: If you like stubborn cowboys and hard-headed women, you will love this series!

I really loved Jeb and Chloe! They were just two of the most hard-headed, stubborn, funny, and delightful characters that I have read. I wasn’t even sure who had me shaking my head the most. Though really it was Lizzy-beth that sold the book to me. She was a delightful child that spoke her mind and made me really warm up to Angus (the father of the McKettrick Boys)!
Final Thought: I really enjoyed this series! Great job LLM!

What I Loved: I loved Holt! Granted I have loved Holt the entire time but it was nice seeing him come full circle. I loved that Rafe was redeemed in this book (in my eyes). I felt he finally accepted Holt and he was one of the family. I loved the romance, the setting, and just about everything in this story.
What I Liked/Wished there was a little more of: Holt’s daughter (Lizzie) was sadly missing in this story. Though I understand it because of the nature of what he had to do, I missed her! She is such a mini-Holt it isn’t even funny! Though I heard that she is part of the Christmas Brides book so I will have to read that.
Final Thought: Sad to see the 4 brothers stories come to an end but it was a perfect ending.

Okay, it looks like Miller could be the one to make me really like cowboys. Hm…
More Miller? It's hard to get your fill, huh. I love stubborn cowboys, and now I'm thinking I need a McKettrick of my own. Funny how the characters sound familiar, like I already know their stories, just by me from reading her other books.
Okay. I haven't read a single Linda Lael Miller book, is that bad? I feel like I'm missing out on some goodness:) Do you have a favorite of hers Felicia?
So glad you like those books! I have about 30 of her books on my shelves, all unread! No idea why I keep buying them without reading some. But I just do.
YAY!!! I love that you loved these as much as I did!!!! <3
Ohhh cowboys! yes please π Oh…you were not handing them out *sulks* I will get a cowboy one day! π
