Blogger Confession: Romance Package from Audible Free Trial Thoughts #LoveAudiobooks

So on 12-05-17 I signed up for the free month trial of the Romance Package from Audible.

Here are my goals during the trial: would I use it enough to justify paying $6.95 when I have multiple library cards. Also are there enough audiobooks in sub romance genres that I listen too (mostly Historical, PNR, Romantic Suspense, and some Contemporary) that would keep me interested. So I hope to answer that question and general usefulness so you can make a decision whether you want to give it a whirl (or not).

NOTE: These are books I have read and rated this year but didn’t review. Sometimes I like to read just for fun! This time it was Coming Home series by Harper Sloan. Book 1 from the Library and Books 2 & 3 for Review.

Overall Thoughts: I read this series while on vacation and really enjoyed it! The characters were all uniquely compelling in their own ways. I liked the friendship, brother/sister dynamics, and love stories. Book 3 was my favorite but they were all worth reading! I will read Harper Sloan again in the future.

Read for Review (NetGalley)

This is Janna MacGregor’s second book and I loved it as much as the first one. It can be read without reading the first book in this series though some of the characters from The Bad Luck Bride appear in this one. Lady Emma Cavensham loves to read and covets rare books. While sneaking off to buy a rare book, she is stopped by reclusive Nick St. Mauer, Earl of Somerton. Her cousin Claire has sent Nick to find her and prevent a scandal. (Nick’s best friend is Claire’s husband Alex.) As punishment, her parents are sending her to their country estate, but before she leaves Nick gives her his copy of the book she was trying to obtain and her first kiss.
