Dark Side of the Moon by Sherrilyn Kenyon: This pretty much sealed it for me—I like Were-Hunters first, Dark-Hunters second, and Dream-Hunters third. I am really liking how she is delving deeper into the lore and then in some books backing off a bit so you can just have a intertwined story. This book was a “filler” book but still a good story.    Author Website: http://www.sherrilynkenyon.com/

Unleash the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon: This is probably my favorite book of the series so far! I really liked Wren/Maggie. I am finding I like the Weres just a tad bit more than the Hunters. I also love Savitar who I think is just as powerful if not more than Ash (who was blessedly absent from this book). I like Ash don’t get me wrong but his and Artemis scenes are my least favorite thing about this series. Heck give me Stryker whining about his mother and wanting to kill every dark hunter over Artemis making an appearance any day of the week. This book was just downright good storytelling! Good job SK! I really did not enjoy the first 3/4 of this book. I didn’t mind Danger/Alexion but the story just did not flow for me. Plus, as much as I love Ash and finding out more about him–this book just did not do a good job of keeping me interested. It was like she wanted to feed us information instead of weaving it into the story well. I did like the introduction of Simi’s sister and I loved how the book ended. Seize the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon: I really enjoyed Val/Tabs book. I think I find myself loving the books that bring back characters from the past but not in a way that overwhelms the main couple in the book. In this one they resolved some of the outstanding issues that you knew were just a misunderstanding. It also advanced the story and kept you turning the page till you found out how it all worked out. There were parts that made me giggle, sniffle, and go oh my gosh. Author Website:  http://www.sherrilynkenyon.com/

Stroke of Midnight by Sherrilyn Kenyon: I thought this was a good short story but I am just not a fan of books in anthologies. I read them because they are part of the overall series but I think they are often rushed. I didn’t feel like I had much invested in the leads (if they had been introduced in other books maybe but this was not the case) so while I was happy it all worked out for them I didn’t really feel connected to them. I thought the Ash/Simi at Dragon Con parts were cute though! Author Website: http://www.sherrilynkenyon.com/
