First Thought when Finished : Oh my that made me cry big crocodile tears while out in public!
Purposely vague review as to not giveaway ANYTHING!
Story Thoughts: Solid, Smart, and Suspenseful is what I am going to use to describe the Suspense side of the story for Operation Endurance. I was on the edge and even though I suspected who it was early on, I was still devastated to be right. It was one of those times I wanted to be wrong! The romance was super strong in this one and I am going to suggest you read the novella Before the Mission Begins (When the Mission Ends, #0.5) because it will ramp up the romance 100 fold! You won’t be disappointed.
Character Thoughts: I loved both Chris and Julie. If you read the whole series then you knew their story would be the most emotional. I had no clue that it would be that emotionally draining (in a good way) but it was. I am going to warn you that you will need hankies for chapter 19 and the end. The characters are so strong that they will push all your emotional buttons through out the story but those two areas are the strongest! Be prepared to want bear hugs!
Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed this series from beginning to end! It was fantastic!
Personal Note: I am so proud of how far Christi has come and how strong her writing/storytelling has gotten. These books have been solid from the beginning but each one has gotten progressively better. She is a shining symbol of self-pub done right! So yes, I recommend the whole series to anyone who loves romantic suspense 🙂
Other Note: I did get a copy for review but I bought the copy that I read so it counts in my read for fun books.

This sounds really good and holy wow that guy on the cover is built! lol
The bad guy!!! I had him in my short line up, but kept hoping for one of the others. Wicked Christi!! OMG! Bad Guy POV so very CREEPY!!!!!
Love how the story dictated the sexy and not the other way around.
BRAVO ending! But we get that bonus novella so maybe we can check in on how our couples are doing.
Thanks for trying not to give things away! I appreciate it. Tears + Steam? Hmmm… I’ll have to get on board 🙂
Tears + Steam! It was a very unique combo that worked really well for me LOL
Oh wow, I love a book that gets you emotionally and you had me excited at solid, smart, suspenseful!
It was all those things! Things happen that just yanked at my heartstrings!
WOW!! This sounds really good! I can’t believe you were crying in public over this! That is a ringing endorsement, if there ever was one. 🙂
And good on Christi for doing the whole self-pub thing RIGHT!
Yep! The poor pedicure guy kept asking is the water too hot? I think I confused him!
Crying? There is no crying in reading! Oh wait… there is… 🙂
This sounds so good! I really enjoy romantic suspense! Must check this one out!!!
Good crying! There was also sad crying and some yelling (but I didn’t do that in public) LOL
I’m almost done! Honestly, I could have finished it last night or even this morning because I picked it up as soon as I woke up.. (yes, it has been established that I have a serious reading addiction – LOL!) I think I’m just kind of savoring the end of this series. I don’t want it to be over…
I’m also with you about the bad guy. I so wanted to be wrong. *sigh* You’re right about the hankies and about how amazing a journey this series has been. I’ve loved it from the beginning and can’t wait to see what Christi has in store for us next.
Oh the bad guy broke my heart! I seriously wanted to be wrong 🙁 🙁 🙁
I can’t wait for what she dishes out next! It is going to be awesome—I just know it!
