First Thought when Finished: I seriously lived in the wrong part of West Texas growing up! Operation Endgame by Christi Snow showed me Lubbock is where it is at!
What I Loved: Friends to HEA’s are always a delight to read! That doesn’t happen very often in Romantic Suspense but I think in this case it worked out perfectly. Cassie and Jake have sizzling chemistry that just smolders off the page! I love that we meet them as younger children and see the wonderful friendship that their attraction is built upon. It is hard not to love them as a couple and root for them the whole way! I love that Cassie is a history professor and game co-creator. The geeky history chic in me just adores that these play a major role in who she is and how she thinks. She is a brilliantly flushed out leading lady! The end scene was so lovingly sweet that I think I swooned a little!
What I Liked: I am a thriller reader/lover and the stalker case in Operation Endgame was really well done. I guessed about half way through who it was but there were times that I questioned my guess. I really like when the suspense keeps me guessing like that! I also really liked Jake and his protection of Cassie. He was always trying to do what he thought was the right thing.
What made me go huh?: I wish a little more time was spent on the dreams had by Cassie before the end. I have always found twins and their connection fascinating.
Final Thought: This was a great opener to the series and I can’t wait for book 2!

Yep… Adding to my Wist List 🙂
Great review, I am putting this book on my wishlist!
Thank you Felicia for reading it and writing such a fabulous review. I keep telling you…you need to come out here to West Texas more often! ;o) smiles…
I evidently need to go to Lubbock more often–my aunt lives there she would love that 🙂 I would have to tell her to line up all the smexy men LOL
I so adore an HEA. There’s just something awesome about a couple riding off into the sunset, so in love they could burst. The geek in me cheers at her professions, too!
She had the BEST professions! She actually had my dream careers so I might have hated her for a little bit about that LOL
So, it’s two nips up! LOL
This one sounds so good and an HEA!! I always live in the wrong place. Until I can live in a book that is… ;D AND with my luck, it’d be a zombie book. Brrraaaiiinnnssss…
LOL You would not end up in a zombie book unless it was like Diana Rowlands—then maybe 🙂
I think you would adore this book!
Lol, and I lived on the wrong side of the world
The men are just never where we are LOL
*squeeeee*
I have this one for review, and I can’t wait to read it. I’m still making sure I have every part of the cover thoroughly licked. hehe
But yes, Friends to HEA are the best. The history professor thing is awesome. I’m happy about that too.
You will really like this one and then you will be calling me about a road trip west LOL
Great review, looking forward to getting to this one. It is hanging out on the TBR pile. Thanks for sharing.
I just dug out One Second After to listen to off my TBR—so I get the never ending TBR 🙂
