No Good Duke Goes Unpunished by Sarah MacLean
Narrator: Rosalyn Landor
Length: 12 hrs and 34 mins
Date Read: December 2013
Genre: Historical, Romance

More Information:A rogue ruined . . .
He is the Killer Duke, accused of murdering Mara Lowe on the eve of her wedding. With no memory of that fateful night, Temple has reigned over the darkest of London’s corners for twelve years, wealthy and powerful, but beyond redemption. Until one night, Mara resurfaces, offering the one thing he’s dreamed of . . . absolution.
A lady returned . . .
Mara planned never to return to the world from which she’d run, but when her brother falls deep into debt at Temple’s exclusive casino, she has no choice but to offer Temple a trade that ends in her returning to society and proving to the world what only she knows . . . that he is no killer.
A scandal revealed . . .
It’s a fine trade, until Temple realizes that the lady—and her past—are more than they seem. It will take every bit of his strength to resist the pull of this mysterious, maddening woman who seems willing to risk everything for honor . . . and to keep from putting himself on the line for love.

First Thought when Finished: No Good Duke goes Unpunished sealed the deal for me: I need to read more Sarah MacLean!
Book Thoughts: Temple! Temple! Team Temple! If you can’t tell I just loved the killer duke to death. He is everything that I expect from my roguish historical leading men: dastardly, damaged, and a really good friend. I will admit that it took a bit for Mara to prove to me that she was worthy of Temple but boy did she! Her back story was heartbreaking but her gumption was outstanding. Together they made me smile!
Audio Thoughts:
Narrated By Rosalyn Landor/ Length: 12 hrs and 34 mins
Rosalyn is probably one my favorite narrators! I just love her voice and it is perfectly suited for historicals. She just pulls off this series spectacularly well. I totally recommend these on audio!
Final Thoughts: Oh that epilogue *evil grin*

Excellent goods from you, man. I’ve understand your stuff previous to and you are just extremely
fantastic. I really like what you’ve acquired here, certainly like what you are saying
and the way in which you say it. You make it entertaining and you still care
for to keep it smart. I can not wait to read far more from you.
This is actually a wonderful web site.
I have this book! And one day I will read it. I just have to read some of her other books first.
Temple was roguish perfection. I just wanted to sooth his wounds & trace his tattoos & maybe lick one or two. Mara did have gumption & a steel backbone. I loved how their self-made, street-smartness eventually busted down their perceived goal of retribution & decided to be happy.
It is decided! This will be my icey TX read by the fire today.
YES!!! I loved it too 🙂 I also love Rosalyn Landor, she really transports you to the era, I almost feel like wearing a costume when I listen to her narrations and really live the fantasy..LOL
Great Job Felicia 🙂
Adding this author to my must read list! Love a “good” rogue! 🙂
Also, must read Eat Prey Love! I’ve been wanting that one as well!!
Gosh darn it. I have got to read this author. I keep reading such rave reviews for her stuff. I haven’t tried that narrator either and if she is one of your favs, maybe I better just do this on audio!
I have not read a historical romance in a long time. Sarah MacLean always has beautiful covers and is definitely on my TBR list. Maybe I should try it in audio? Great review.
I’ve been seeing this book around. Looks good! I haven’t started the series yet but I’ll keep the audio in mind. Sounds delicious!
Just got the first in the series for my Kindle after hearing an interview with Sarah McClean. Can’t wait to get to this one!
I like McLean 😀
*swoon* Temple was delicious and ooh I am so excited that this sealed the deal for you..I love this author and this series. Wonderful review my friend!
I have to confess something Felicia. I still haven’t finished this one. I KNOW!!!!!! I love Temple so, so much, but I got so angry at Mara early on that I walked away and haven’t been able to go back to her. I will though because I know Sarah MacLean will redeem her for me. It’s just taking me a little while to cool down:) I LOVE YOU TEMPLE!
Oooh, another one for my list!! Yahoo!! I’m now dying to meet Temple.
