Month of Thanks

Hi Y’all! It is November and that is always the month I am reminded that there are tons of things that I am thankful for in my life. This year November will be known as the Month of Thanks. I am going to do 30 days of Thanks here on Geeky Bloggers Book Blog! Each day I will highlight one author (and the book they wrote that moved me) and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love.

Month of Thanks

I am thankful to Christopher Farnsworth and his The President’s Vampire series!  This year brought Red, White, and Blood which was just amazing.  I think what I love most about this series is it combines two things I love: Paranormal and Thrillers.  Every book is fast paced, filled with great characters, and has a mystery that needs to be solved.  This is another series that I have started listening to in audiobook.  Bronson Pinchot does an excellent job of adding a layer of “oomph” to the story.  This is one series that I hope continues for a very long time.

Month of Thanks

The Presidential Campaign Trail, 2012: A political operative and a volunteer are brutally murdered while caught in a compromising position. Written in their blood on the wall of the crime scene: IT’S GOOD TO BE BACK. And with that, a centuries-old horror known only as the Boogeyman returns to taunt Nathaniel Cade, the President’s Vampire. Against the backdrop of the 2012 presidential race, with the threat of constant exposure by the media, Cade and Zach must stop the one monster Cade has never been able to defeat completely. And they must do it before the Boogeyman adds another victim to his long and bloody list: the President of the United States himself.

Month of Thanks

I am thankful for Melissa from Books and Things!  She is one of my favorite people on the planet.  Her love of dogs, vampires, and non-cliffie ending books have bonded us for life.  She is another person that I have been lucky to meet in real life and she is even more delightful in person.  Her puppies are too cool for school also (met them or got tackle hugged by them which ever you choose).  She reads fantastic books and always manages to add to be To Be Read Someday (I have renamed it because I am determined) pile.  In other words, she is just awesome!
