Hi Y’all! It is November and that is always the month I am reminded that there are tons of things that I am thankful for in my life. This year November will be known as the Month of Thanks. I am going to do 30 days of Thanks here on Geeky Bloggers Book Blog! Each day I will highlight one author (and the book they wrote that moved me) and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love.
I am thankful for Olivia Cunning and her Rock Stars! This was my other naughty read for this year that absolutely made me turn red. However it is the world and the characters that really make Olivia Cunning’s writing shine for me. The world she has created for the Sinners is just as mesmerizing as any Urban Fantasy setting. I really felt like I was getting to know what it was like for Rock Stars, their families, their friends, and the fans. She manages to make you think that you are part of this richly built world and each book has added to that visual.
An ultimatum can break your heart….
Every night lead singer, Sed Lionheart whips thousands of women into a frenzy with his voice alone. But the stage is the only place Sed feels any passion since he lost Jessica…
If you’re not willing to break all the rules…
It shattered her heart, but law student Jessica broke off her engagement to Sed, determined to be successful on her own terms. But no other man can ever hold a candle to Sed…
Then a chance meeting and tortuously close quarters lead to uncontrollable flares of passion and rediscovery of their unique penchant for public encounters. Now, in addition to the risk of mutual heartbreak every time they get together, they’re in danger of truly scandalous public exposure.
I am thankful for Heather from Book Savvy Babe for being one of my favorite people ever! I have the pleasure and the privilege of meeting this awesome chick in person. We have molested cover models, drank wine, and had chocolate together. That pretty much bonds us for life! She is my go to gal when I am in a Historical Romance mood and I can count on her to tell me which naughty reads I should give a whirl. There is no one better at sharing information and really being a community leader. She is extremely giving and just an all around awesome person!
During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.
