Hi Y’all! It is November and that is always the month I am reminded that there are tons of things that I am thankful for in my life. This year November will be known as the Month of Thanks. I am going to do 30 days of Thanks here on Geeky Bloggers Book Blog! Each day I will highlight one author (and the book they wrote that moved me) and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love.
I am thankful to Nalini Singh and her Guild Hunter series that I discovered this year. I am late to the game on this series to but I really enjoyed book 1: Angels’ Blood! I will be catching up on the series next year and can’t wait to dive back into this wonderful world.
Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she is the best- but she does not know if even she is good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, Elena knows failure is not an option—even if the task is impossible.
Because this time, it’s not a wayward vamp she has to track. It’s an archangel gone bad.
The job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other—and pull her to the razor’s edge of passion. Even if the hunt does not destroy her, succumbing to Raphael’s seductive touch just might. For when archangels play, mortals break
I am thankful for Kelly from Reading the Paranormal. She is one of those people who I can count on to make me smile on a daily basis. Her reviews are stellar, her sense of humor is wonderful, and her passion for reading is contagious. She also is who I credit for my Alien Romance love! I probably would have never given certain books a whirl if it wasn’t for her and I am so glad that I did 🙂
Also I want to give a very warm thank you to her and Amanda for doing (putting together) Profiling Mysteries this year. I know they did it to help me out and they will never know how much I appreciated it. It was a total blast!

I love Nalini Singh’s books very much, and I will check out Reading the Paranormal. I need new blogs now more and more of those I already follow switch to erotica and gay romance, which is not my thing.
Kelly is a hoot! I often wish I was her clone! 🙂
Me too! I wish I could clone her humor and ability to read a ton 🙂
YEAH!!!! I’m so glad you loved Angel’s Blood Felicia! Nalini is one of my very favorite authors, and I just adore Raphael and Elena. And his entire 7. I’m so glad they’re getting books too:)
Kelly is fabulous, she and Amanda always crack me up on their blogs and their random dirty conversations on Twitter. I always come in on the tail end of them chatting on Twitter and it never fails to make me die laughing:)
I know, right? I think they should co-write a book based on their twitter conversations. I would buy copies and give them as Christmas gifts 🙂
I have part of the Guild Hunter series on my shelf. I look forward to starting it.
I am so glad Kelly is getting LOVED, because I already stalk her. You’ve got me going all over the place & meeting new bookish people. ;D
I have only read the first one but I will be tackling the rest next year 🙂 I love her writing!
Alien romance is the best 😉
It really is and I would have never given it a chance without Kelly!
Kelly does have a great blog!
Oh and I have the first books in this series. SO need to read them!
I loved book 1! Great world building 🙂
Awwww. I loves Felicia, too! And and and and… I am so pleased to have infected you with my love for sexy sci-fi! RAWR to aliens and their spaceships and their delightful alien ways of lovin’!
Aliens FTW! I am still waiting on the invasion 🙂
I haven’t read her Guild Hunter series but I’m definitely thankful for Nalini’s Psy/Changeling series. That series is all kinds of awesome.
I need to read that series too! I love her writing 🙂
*huggles Kelly until she can’t breathe* I am also very thankful for Kelly! She keeps me sane. Or as sane as I can be.
*coughs, chokes, clings*
You both keep me in stitches 🙂
