Hi Y’all! It is November and that is always the month I am reminded that there are tons of things that I am thankful for in my life. This year November will be known as the Month of Thanks. I am going to do 30 days of Thanks here on Geeky Bloggers Book Blog! Each day I will highlight one author (and the book they wrote that moved me) and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love.
I am thankful to Sylvia Day and two of her books I read this year: Bared to You and Seven Years to Sin (reread for me)! I am not much of a super smexy reader but when I find a good one I swoon. I admit that I read Seven Years for the first time last year and loved it. I am glad it is finding a new audience. I read Bared to You back when it was a self-pub and was just waiting on the rest of the world to fall in love. It seems they have 🙂 I am not a fan of the “new” covers so I am posting the old ones 🙂
Seven Years to Sin: Seven Years to Sin – a classic erotic romance – by Sylvia Day – author of the sensational international bestselling Bared to You, first book in the Crossfire series – is a smart, sensual story of a young woman’s sexual awakening at the hands of a handsome rogue in Regency England.
Seven years ago, on the eve of her wedding, young Lady Jessica Sheffield witnessed a scandalous seduction by the roguish Alistair Caulfield. But after years of serene but unfulfilling marriage, she still cannot free her dreams of this illicit liaison. So when newly widowed Jessica steps aboard Caulfield’s ship for a transatlantic passage, years of denied pleasure and passion will be unleashed in the most provocative way . . .
Bared to You: Our journey began in fire…
Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness—beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I’d never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily…
Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other’s most private wounds… and desires.
The bonds of his love transformed me, even as I prayed that the torment of our pasts didn’t tear us apart…
I am thankful to the dual personalities that are Reading in Wynter! What? Y’all only know about her sweet, nice, present to the parent’s side? You don’t know about her fun, sassy, after dark side? You should check both the sweet and sassy out! I heart her humor, fun, and just downright goodness!

Love Sylvia and Love Krystin. She does have a dual personality disorder or superpower.

Going to check her blog 🙂
I like that title: Reading in Wynter. 🙂
Oh and I SO want to read all the Bared to You books. When I met her at RomCon she was so sweet that I want to pick up every book she has written. I know I will!
It’s fun to have an “after dark” side. 😉
