Month of Thanks #21: Michelle Rowen and Once Upon a Chapter

30 Days of Thanks Month of Thanks #21: Michelle Rowen and Once Upon a Chapter

Hi Y’all! It is November and that is always the month I am reminded that there are tons of things that I am thankful for in my life. This year November will be known as the Month of Thanks. I am going to do 30 days of Thanks here on Geeky Bloggers Book Blog! Each day I will highlight one author (and the book they wrote that moved me) and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love.

I am thankful to Michelle Rowen for giving the world the greatness of Blood Bath & Beyond.  I really enjoyed every minute of this book.  It was so much fun and the characters are great.  I now have the rest of Michelle Rowen’s books on my wishlist!

Blood Bath and Beyond by Michelle Rowen 338x500 Month of Thanks #21: Michelle Rowen and Once Upon a Chapter

Sarah Dearly is adjusting to life as a fledgling vampire, satisfying her cravings at vampire-friendly blood banks. But when her fiancé Thierry takes a job with the Ring—the secret council in charge of keeping vampires in line—Sarah’s about to get more than a taste of danger…

Being engaged to a centuries-old master vampire can be challenging—especially when he takes a job with the Ring. Thierry’s in for fifty years of nonstop travel and deadly risk. It’s enough to make any woman reconsider the wedding…any woman except Sarah, that is.

Traveling to Las Vegas for his first assignment, they encounter a child beauty pageant contestant from hell, as well as a vampire serial killer leaving victims drained of blood, potentially exposing the existence of vampires to the whole world. But when Thierry’s truly ancient history comes back to haunt him, and he’s accused of a crime he didn’t commit, it’s up to Sarah to clear his name before their immortal lives come to an end.

I am thankful for Stephanie at Once Upon a Chapter!  She really spurred me on earlier this year to really start working on my TBR.  I didn’t do so well during Operation TBR but I am doing awesome now.  I really think she was key in getting me to think about it.  She is awesome and she read an eclectic group of reads :)

Felicia is just your average gal from Texas that loves Audiobooks with a passion! She can wine them, dine them, and love them forever. Her favorite genres: Cozy Mysteries, Thrillers, Romance of all kinds, Zombies, Urban Fantasy, and the occasional Historical Fiction. You may also find her reading on her kindle when a book hasn't been released in audio form yet! In her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Tonks a beautiful Lab/Pyr mix (Farm Rescue), Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), and Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup). She also spends times with friends, family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.

Ahhhh! Thank you so much for featuring me Felicia! I am really glad that I was able to help you with your TBR pile. Now if I could only make myself stick to that promise. ;) Maybe I’ll have a resurgence of personal inspiration in 2013. Who knows what a new year will bring?
