Hi Y’all! It is November and that is always the month I am reminded that there are tons of things that I am thankful for in my life. This year November will be known as the Month of Thanks. I am going to do 30 days of Thanks here on Geeky Bloggers Book Blog! Each day I will highlight one author (and the book they wrote that moved me) and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love.
First: I want to say thank you to all the men/women who have served/serve the USA for all the hard work, perseverance, and compassion. I am grateful for all the freedoms I have because of the work that you do!
I am thankful for Nina Bruhns and her Men in Uniform Series! This year I read White Hot. It is the second book in the series and just as good as the first. I fell in love for the 2nd time with Clint Walker (what can I say he made an impression on me in the first book). I have read a few books by Nina and the one thing I can always count on from her are Alpha Men with compassion. I love how she makes her heroes strong and protective but always caring about more than themselves. She is just brilliant at doing that and I fall in love every time!

I am thankful for Christi from Smitten with Reading! I have had the pleasure of meeting her and y’all she is just as sweet in person. Christi is someone who I admire for a lot of reasons but my top one is her passion to follow her writing dreams. She published her first book this year: Operation Endgame and it was fab! She takes her writing seriously but she also takes her reading seriously. That girl can read more than anyone I know :) She has great taste in books and is always making my TBR grow. She is an excellent scrapbooker and wonderful mother. How she manages to do it all, I will never understand! I am just glad she is a friend :)
