Month of Thanks #1: Melissa Schroeder and Simply Ali

Hi Y’all!  It is November and that is always the month I am reminded that there are tons of things that I am thankful for in my life.  This year November will be known as the Month of Thanks. I am going to do 30 days of Thanks here on Geeky Bloggers Book Blog!  Each day I will highlight one author (and the book they wrote that moved me) and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for!  These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love.

I am thankful for Melissa Schroeder and her book Surrender!  I am going to admit that I don’t read a whole lot of really “naughty” books.  I love them occasionally but on whole I am pretty mainstream.  My poor cheeks would be a constant shade of red if I read more of the erotica genre.  I am thrilled it exists though because there are so many great stories that need to be told that can only be done justice through erotica.  One of the books I loved this year was Surrender.  Surrender was a book that just fit for me and was enjoyable from beginning to end. Any book that gives me a few hours of enjoyment and can be read in one setting is one that will stay with me for a very long time.  This one was fantasy filling and emotionally rewarding.  I highly recommend it!

This book has one of those hot Duprees, so you know that you will need a glass of water to cool off. Every Addict will tell you that reading a Harmless book is anything BUT harmless—so read at your own risk.

I am thankful for Simply Ali who has to be one of the most giving and talented individuals I know.  She is so supportive of the Romance community!  She goes out of her way to support and promote romance authors and reading.  She also does this despite her shyness!  She is just a fantastic human being and one everyone should get to know.  One of my favorite things that she does on her blog is  Simply Ali Salutes which highlights different organizations giving back to the community.  These have touched on all types of issues: Literacy, Women’s Issues, Bullying, and many more.  Each time it raises awareness and warms my heart!  She is someone who I look up to for her caring and giving ways.
