More Information:Luck be a vampire tonight . . .
When Nicole Phillips agreed to hire a housekeeper, she pictured someone a little frumpy and almost certainly female. Instead, she gets gorgeous, unmistakably male Jake Colson. The man is proving indispensable in the kitchen—and everywhere else. Except Jake might not be a mortal man at all.
. . . and every night
Who wouldn't want to be a tall, dark, powerful vampire? Jake, for one. He's barely had time to adjust to his new state before he's roped into a family favor. Still, secretly playing bodyguard to sweet, sexy Nicole is turning out to be the wildest ride of his life. First he'll put a stop to whoever's targeting her. Then he'll prove that this kind of love, and luck, happens only once in an eternity.

Quick Thoughts: One Lucky Vampire by Lynsay Sands was fun, sexy, and goofy enough to make me laugh out loud often. The end was a bit rushed but the characters are so fantastic that I just didn’t care. I was so in love with Jake and thought Nicole was a great match for him. I loved the twist that the mystery took. The romance just should have been flushed out a bit more in the end 🙂 Totally getting back to this series!
Audio Thoughts:
Narrated By Jack Dupont/Length: 9 hrs and 41 mins
Jack was great! I enjoyed his female voices almost as much as his male voices. He nailed Jake though and that was all kinds of sexy !

It is wonderful that this series is still going strong at book #19 — this is quite a feat! Goofy characters (as long as thet’re not Jar Jar Binks goofy) are so much fun and can really add personality to a story. It sounds like One Lucky Vampire was one of them. Nice review.
I’m not familiar with this narrator, but I’ve had this series on my radar for a while. You giving the narrator a 4.5 rating will move this up my list. Add to that book 19 still rating a 4, that is pretty good.
I’ve only read the fist book in this series, Felicia, it’s good to know it’s still going strong in book #19! And the narrator is always important when we listen to a book, I’m glad this worked so well for you.
Have a terrific Thursday and happy reading 🙂
Yep, need to catch up on this series. Love the sound of the humor!
I am so going to read a book by this author soon! Blodeuedd is sending me some more.

I have heard great things about this series. I like that it’s a fun book. Maybe someday I’ll enjoy PNR as much as I used to.
