My Reviews
- Archetype by M. D. Waters
- Blood Cross by Faith Hunter
- Mercy Blade by Faith Hunter
- Raven Cursed by Faith Hunter
- Skinwalker by Faith Hunter
What I like about her:
Khristine is another narrator that I have listened to far more than I have reviewed. The first book I listened to that she narrated was The Restorer by Amanda Stevens–great book and great narration. Next I listened to the Faith Hunter series. After hearing Khristine pull of Beast and Jane with such great gusto, I was hooked. I know that she is known in the YA Fantasy world. She is the reason that I tried the M.D. Waters and Laini Taylor series because after she became the narrator of the Vampire Academy series (books 2 and 3)–I realized that I trusted her voice in a reading realm that I am not always sold on. She really is one of the most dependable and enjoyable narrators out there!

During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.

I didn’t recognize her name until you mentioned she narrated the Vampire Academy series. I read the hardcover edition of book 1 but the rest of that series I read via audiobook. I just looked at my review of Frostbite and saw that I gave Khristine 5 stars on her performance.
I just listened to my first book by this narrator, The Shadow Queen. While I didn’t love the book (review to come), I did love the narration. I do plan to try her again soon.
I don’t pay nearly enough attention to the narrators of my favorite audiobooks! You have inspired me to pay more attention and give them the love they deserve!
I liked what you wrote about what you liked about her! Ha!
You rock these
Oh I loved her on the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. I should redo all those on audio.
Is there a school for audio book narrators or something?
I love her! I have only listened to the entire Graveyard Queen series she did but I do have Skinwalker to get to some time and she is one I might pick something up just cause she narrates it. 🙂
She did an amazing job with Skinwalker. I currently have The Shadow Queen and Blood Cross, which I can’t wait to listen to. She is definitely on my must listen list.
