For #JIAM16 I am going to spotlight some of my favorite narrators. I plan on doing one a day until the end of June. I hope you will give them a listen and if you have favorite narrators use this month to thank them for bringing such rich layers to stories we love!

What I like about her
Karen is one of the kindest fan-friendly narrators out there. She has excellent voice skills and always manages to bring something new to the table with each work that she narrates. She is one of the few narrators that I have met in person and let me tell you—TOTAL DELIGHT!

During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.

I don’t think I’ve listened to a book narrated by Karen White before, but I’ve seen several out there with her listed as narrator. I like what I’ve heard here, and narration on an audio can certainly make or break the book for me.
Yes it can. She manages to bring something new to every book she narrates. She has a great voice for the spoken word!
I do like the sound of her voice
She has a great voice!
I love Karen. So far,, I’ve really only listened to her narrate Rebecca Zanetti, but I’ve really enjoyed it, both the Sin Brothers and Dark Protectors. I saw you said she does some Cozy Mysteries. I keep saying that I’m going to try some, maybe that is where I should start, since I know I love her.
YES! She is great at Cozies 🙂 She does quirk really well which she doesn’t get to show off in RZ books LOL
I’m not a big romance fan, but I loved the clips you shared. I can understand why you enjoy her narrations!
She actually does a LOT of general fiction and probably some stuff up your alley. She is diverse but for me it is her Romance and Cozy Mystery narrations 🙂
Thanks for the heads up! I just put a hold on The Little Friend and look forward to “reading” it.
I loved meeting you both at the Naudies this year! Thanks for including me, Felicia!
The Naudies was sooooooooooooooooo fun 🙂 It was fantastic meeting you!
I love Karen, and I need to listen to more with her as the narrator. 🙂
She does quite a few cozies–so you will have a pluthera of choices LOL 🙂
