#JIAM Spotlight Narrator: Amy Landon #LoveAudiobooks

For #LoveAudiobooks  I am going to spotlight some of my (and my fellow listeners) favorite narrators. I plan on doing one spotlight post a day until the end of June. Some of them will be single narrators and other will have multiple narrators. I will also sprinkle in a couple of spotlight on genre posts that will recognize my favorites in that area. I hope you will give them a listen and if you have favorite narrators use this month to thank them for bringing such rich layers to stories we love!

Today I am spotlighting Amy Landon. She has made this or the 30 Days of Thanks list since 2014. She is one of the staples in my listening library. She has a very versatile voice that can do everything from Paranormal to Suspense. She can play sweet or gritty depending on what is called for and has the ability to swing her voice from young to old. Her voice is also very clear and easy to follow which is why I often suggest her for people just getting into audiobooks!

Amy Landon is a classically trained actress with numerous off-Broadway, film, and television credits. Her voice can also be heard on many television and radio commercials. She has an easy facility with dialects, which she also coaches and teaches, and she is happy to find her lifelong obsession with books is matching up with her acting and vocal work. Read more HERE

  1. Not yet but Amy Landon is actually the narrator on several audiobooks I’ve collected but haven’t had time to listen to you: What’s Left of Me: What’s Left of Me, Book 1 By Amanda Maxlyn, The Problem with Forever and Wicked: A Wicked Saga, Book 1 by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Jennifer will be in my area for the Authors of the OC book event in Anaheim this coming October, so I plan to definitely listen to The Problem of Forever before that event. =)

    • You will have to let me know if you the JL book. I have never tried her but so many people adore her to pieces. I think you will like her voice she really is very versatile 🙂

      • Oh I’m a total Jennifer L. Armentrout fan. I discovered her in 2013 after I forced myself to stop rereading the Twilight saga repeatedly from beginning to end. Obsidian (Lux #1) was my first physical book of hers, and I’ve loved/enjoyed everything I’ve read by her including her J. Lynn pseudonym titles. She’s a top fav author whose novels I usually read with my own eyeballs and then I reread them via audiobook. ?
