Overall Rating: DNF
First Thought when Finished: Hunted by Elizabeth Heiter was one I really wanted to work for me π
Why the DNF: I was really sad to put this one down because the Thriller part was super well done. I did flip to the back to see how it all turned out. The problem was, the angst was super high and it kind of ruined the characters for me. It was like a super melodramatic Criminal Minds episode and that just doesn’t work for me. The writing was excellent and the story flow was good. So if you like drama in your thrillers then I really think this will work for you.
How far I made it: 150 pages (yes I was trying really hard to push through)

Oh that sucks, I like this series. Alas not every book is for everyone. π
Yeah…no to super-melodramatic, especially in a non-NA story (not that I like it in NA but I expect it).
It sucks when you really want to like a book, but you just can’t. *hugs*
Poor book, not
Too much drama doesn’t work for me either Felicia. Hope you will like the next book.
