Date Read: 2014
Genre: PNR, Romance

More Information:She’s sexy-fierce, resourceful—and will do anything to protect victims as innocent as she once was. But this kick-ass reaper never bargained on meeting her not-quite-human match…or putting their very souls on the line.
A luxury Caribbean cruise is Ruby Dawson’s idea of hell even under the best circumstances. Too many bad memories bubble up—especially of the wrenching injustice that made her a reaper. It doesn’t help that Jack Deverell is making this routine soul-collecting job twice as difficult with his devilish good looks and not-so-innocent questions. Now, as several unscheduled, unexplainable deaths throw passengers and crew into a panic, Jack becomes the prime suspect. The only way Ruby can save him is to challenge the decades-old curse threatening his soul. And as a malevolent unstoppable force turns their immortality into a fatal weakness, Ruby and Jack must risk their fragile humanity to save Fate’s delicate balance and their own unexpected destiny…

First Thought when Finished: Grave Destinations was another fun entry in the Grave series. I love Reapers!
Overall Thoughts: I want to thank Lori Sjoberg for writing a series with Reapers. There just aren’t enough of them out there. I really like the Grave series so far. The characters are fantastic, complicated, and damaged. I really liked Ruby in book 1 and knew I wanted her story. I loved getting to know more about what made her a Reaper. I figured her back story was a tough one but it fit her. I liked Jack from the beginning too. His back story was almost as heartbreaking as Ruby’s. Yes, he was a bit cocky but I am just going to credit the demon for bringing that out in him. Also, I kind of want his demon to get an HEA of some sort–some how! Lori, you need to make that happen. I thought Jack and Ruby were a great couple and their chemistry was explosive. The mystery was solid and the lore more solidified. I can’t wait for the next one.
Final Thoughts: This is a great series so far! I am really enjoying it!

Nice review Felicia, you make me want to read this series!
I really enjoyed this too and yeah I have a thing for Reapers too Flea. It is one paranormal job I think I would enjoy.
Very nice cover… Great review Felicia and this sounds like an easy read and complicated characters are always interesting 🙂
That cover would never let me guess this was a paranormal. Oh now I’m even more curious about this book!
I would have never guessed this was a paranormal book about reapers based on the cover. I agree there aren’t enough reaper books out there so I would like to check this out!
Reminds me that I need another audiobook to listen to 😉
