Marcus Sullivan has always been the responsible older brother, stepping in to take care of his seven siblings when their father died. But when the perfectly ordered future he's planned turns out to be a lie, Marcus needs one reckless night to shake free from it all.
Known throughout the world by only one name—Nico—pop songstress Nicola Harding is seen as the ultimate sex kitten. But it's all a lie. After a terrible betrayal she refuses to let anyone else close enough to find out who she really is…or to hurt her again. Especially the gorgeous stranger at the bar.
One night is all Nicola and Marcus agree to share with each other. But instead, a deeper connection than either of them could have anticipated begins…

First Thought when Finished: Loved diving back into the world of the Sullivans! From This Moment On was a great afternoon read!
Story Thoughts: I love the world of the Sullivans! Families that stick together, love each other, and support each other are fantastic. The romance between Marcus and Nicola just didn’t work for me (sometimes that happens) BUT the flow of the story was very smooth. Bella’s writing is really well paced and you care deeply about the characters. So even if a particular romance doesn’t work for you the book is still worth the time spent reading it!
Character Thoughts: I loved Marcus! He was just swoon-worthy all around. I loved his alpha head-of-the-household traits because he also seemed very fair/grounded. I also really liked Nicola. There was more to her than what initially meets the eye. Plus the way she was written felt organically real to me. She was very much ahead of her years in some ways but in others you could see her “youngness”. While I wasn’t a fan of their romance, I did really connect with them as individuals.
Audio Thoughts:
Narrated By Eva Kaminsky / Length: 7 hrs and 22 mins
Eva does a great job with all the female voices in the series! I am warming up to her male voices but they still aren’t my favorite. They are not distracting though. Her pacing is great and her differentiating between characters is really good. Overall, I will give the audiobooks one more whirl to see if we finally click.
Final Thoughts: Really excited about the next book! I think it will be a doozy 🙂

My daughter asked me if I had read The Sullivans…. nope, not yet. I don’t go out of my way for contemporary, but I might have to give at least one of these a go….
I have a few of the author’s freebies. Think I’m going to start there first.
I’m not sure if I’ll pick this one up. I enjoyed the first but the romance moved so fast for me.
Marcus was interesting in the first book though. All broody lol
I really enjoyed the book version of this and yes Marcus is totally swoon-worthy and romantic and sigh…LOL Delightful review and I am equally excited to read the final book:)
Sounds good to me 🙂
Interesting that you didn’t like the romance, but liked them as individuals. That has happened to me. I have one of her books and I really do need to try it.
Hmmmm. Interesting that you liked the characters separately but that together they didn’t work as well for you. Kind of makes me curious! Still, it’s really saying something that despite the fact the romance didn’t work, you still enjoyed the story, so I think this is an author I definitely need to try!
Just skimming your review, I will be reading this book myself soon!
