#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in March 3 2017
Hey FitReaders! It is time for your weekly check-in (feel free to use whatever day you want to check-in–these posts will be going up on Fridays)! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of exercise? Are you on track with your other health goals! I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it!
Confession: The last 2 months my weight has gone up continually even after cutting calories and doing extra workouts. My thyroid is out of whack again. I go to the DR on Thursday to see if I am going through the “change” which might be what threw it back out (last time this happened 4 years ago it was because my body was going through something that was throwing off my levels). It is a very frustrating thing and can be discouraging especially for someone who used to be 320 pounds and got down to 190. Right now I am sitting at 220 and I swore I would never go there again. However, I am determined to keep focused and not let it get me to “give up”. I wanted to share this because I know we all struggle. We all see the number on the scale and sometimes it can be the worst thing ever. Life has a way of making you question if it is all worth it (the diet, the exercise, ect). I am going to tell you that for me it is and I hope for you it is too. We are a group that supports each other through the highs and lows. So wherever you are in your journey just know that someone in the group is right there with you! Y’all inspire me every single day! Thank you for that and hopefully I start back down and we get it done together.
Exercise wise: I have started http://www.yourdailywalk.com and have done the video of the day every day. These are full body exercises and just so you can laugh: I totally bopped myself in the head when I let go of the stretchy band wrong. Those things are dangerous yo! 🙂
