#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in June 19  2015

Hey FitReaders! It is time for your weekly check-in (feel free to use whatever day you want to check-in–these posts will be going up on Fridays)! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of exercise? Are you on track with your other health goals! I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it!

Remember Check-Ins till the end of June are done over That’s What I’m Talking About

This week I met my goals. I had to tune down my goal to 5000 steps a day while taking pain meds for my teeth (hopefully I get a couple of weeks retrieve after Monday). It just isn’t good to have elevated heart rates while on massive ibuprofen so instead I got up for a stroll every hour for about 5 min. I refused to just sit but I was told this was safe (and even good). I also scheduled my yearly mammogram and physical for this summer. Have you? I know no one likes to go to the Dr but go-go-go!

All in all a win this week!

  1. I’m trying to make sure I do something every day and so far I’m succeeding even though it is sooooo hot. SOme days it’s only 10-15 minutes but at least I’m moving.

    I just got my eyes checked – GP next month and luckily the mammogram isn’t until the end of the year.

    I had my teeth cleaned and needed a new crown so that was fun. NOT lol I hope you’re feeling better soon. Mouth pain is awful.

  2. I don’t blame you for taking it easy. Teeth pain is wretched. Which reminds me I am WAY overdue for my dentist appointment!
